Deer are such gentle creatures. Such a unique sight
plunges one headlong into the Jataka tales of Buddhist lore and the story of
the selfless Banyan deer.

This deer was doubtless not alone, but was willing to
explore very close to the house. In the second photo, some barely audible
sound made the deer curious. In the third photo, note the tip of the pipe that
holds the clothesline. A picture of bears coming up the same path is elsewhere
