Here is a list of web sites linking to Hermitary. The fascinating fact about the list is that so many people of so many different ideas and viewpoints happily link to Hermitary. Find Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, classical, pagan, New Age, wilderness, literary, psychology, eremitic, and other interests ... a wonderful mix! This does not mean that I agree, recommend, or endorse any site per se. But thanks to you all!
If you are linked but are not on this list, please let me know. Likewise, if there are errors, let me know. The lists are based on quick search engine searches, not on detailed web statistics. Revised December 21, 2009.

Meng-hu

Shedworking
Whether you like it or not, shedworking and homeworking tends to be a fairly solitary occupation. A fantastic site for those who regard a bit of peace and quiet as, on the whole, a good thing is The Hermitary which has a wide range of articles, book reviews and links on the subject of hermits and solitude. There's also an interesting blog, Hermit's Thatch.
[May 2007]
Hermitary: 'Resources and reflections on hermits and solitude' is the subtitle and I couldn't put it better myself. It’s a very informative and worthy site, but the funniest thing (if that's the right word) is the hermit's forum with a record so far of 169 users online at once. I guess in these days of the Internet even hermiting isn't what it once was …
